Money laundering case
LAHORE
Court has directed former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi to appear in person on next hearing in money laundering case.
Special judge central Tanvir Ahmad Sheikh issued written order regarding hearing of money laundering case against Pervaiz Elahi, his son Moonis Elahi and others Saturday.
The court while summoning head of JIT investigating into money laundering case against former federal minister Moonis Elahi and others said JIT should itself pursue the matter of red notices in respect of Moonis Elahi and his arrest from abroad.
The court while summoning Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi in person on next hearing in money laundering case said according to prosecutor Pervaiz Elahi is not in critical condition. PTI leader is participating in other functions.
The court while issuing orders to FIA said assistant director should file report regarding extension in the period on seizure of properties of Moonis Elahi and other proclaimed offenders.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till November 28.
