Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Relief, Malik Naik Muhammad Khan, has strongly criticized the federal government, accusing it of using unprecedented violence against peaceful Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in Islamabad.
Condemning the direct firing on unarmed protesters, he labeled these actions as a grave violation of human rights and a desperate attempt by the government to conceal its failures.
Malik Naik Muhammad Khan claimed that hundreds of PTI workers have been injured or killed in what he called undemocratic and inhumane acts.
Emphasizing PTI’s commitment to democratic principles, he asserted that the right to peaceful protest, enshrined in Pakistan’s Constitution, is being trampled by the federal government.
He questioned whether this right was now reserved for specific parties alone, while PTI workers faced brutal repression.
He accused the government of resorting to fascist tactics to cling to power, calling the “rain of bullets on peaceful protests” an assault on democracy itself.
Despite this, he stated that PTI workers remain undeterred, steadfast in their mission under the leadership of Imran Khan to achieve “real freedom” and protect democratic values.
Malik Naik Muhammad Khan also appealed to human rights organizations and the international community to intervene, urging them to address the violence, loss of lives, and suppression of free speech in Pakistan.
Malik Naik Muhammad Khan warned the federal government that the people’s collective power would soon dismantle the “wall of oppression,” paving the way for PTI’s success.
