KP wildlife dept imposes ban on rabbit hunting

PESHAWAR: Due to the significant decline in the rabbit population in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial government has implemented a ban on rabbit hunting. According to a notification issued by the wildlife department KP that hunting rabbits is now prohibited across the entire province. The move is aimed at protecting the dwindling rabbit species. The department has clarified that no hunting of rabbits will be allowed in any area of the province, and violators will face strict legal action. To ensure the effectiveness of this ban, the department will take all necessary steps, including regular deployment of wildlife officials in areas where rabbits are typically hunted.
