Khawarij attack forces

One soldier was martyred while 4 personnel sustained injuries as Khawarij attacked a security forces picket at Garah Bakhtiar Morr in Kulachi Tehsil of Dera Ismail Khan District, security sources said on Wednesday night.
According to security forces official, a picket of Pakistan Army Unit 27 Sindh Regiment was returning from Rorri area of Kulachi Tehsil, Dera Ismail Khan when they were ambushed by Khawarij at Garah Bakhtiar Morr in the same tehsil. As a result of the attack, one soldier embraced martyrdom while 4 personnel were injured.
The martyred soldier has been identified as Naik Mutahir while the injured include Naib Subedar Faisal, Sepoy Mumtaz, Naik Naeem Farooq and Sepoy Rehan.
As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy contingent of police and security forces along with medical teams was dispatched to the site of the incident and a search operation was launched after cordoning off the area.
