Committee formed to monitor prices, quality of essential commodities: Saif

Advisor to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has stated that a crackdown has been initiated against profiteers and hoarders during the holy month of Ramadan.
On the directives of the Chief Minister, special committees have been formed in all districts to monitor the prices and quality of essential commodities.
These committees will conduct daily market visits to ensure compliance with official rates and quality standards and will submit daily reports to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Barrister Dr. Saif further mentioned that a special complaints cell has been established in the Food Department.

He added that the Food Department, Food Authority, and district administration will remain active across the province against profiteers, and strict action will be taken against violators. He assured that the public will not be left at the mercy of profiteering mafias, and the government is taking serious steps to provide relief to the people. Additionally, the Chief Minister has directed that the Ramadan and Eid package be delivered to all deserving individuals before the 15th of Ramadan.
