KHYBER: To express solidarity with the innocent people of Palestine, a rally was taken out at hospital chawk, tehsil Landi Kotal on Friday. On the call of the central leadership, Jamat-e-Islami(JI)Landi Kotal chapter, organized the protest rally that was attended by a number of the party workers and members of civil society. The marchers were carrying banner inscribed with slogans favoring Palestinian people and the Palestine flags, chanted against atrocities of Israel forces. Speaking on the occasion ameer JI Landi Kotal, Murad Hussein Afridi, Abdurrauf Shinwari, Imam of Quba Mosque Maulana Rehmatullah and others categorically condemned the Israeli aggression in Palestine and emphasized need of unity among the Muslims. Had there been any honor and courage left in the Muslims of the world to stop Israeli barbarism in Palestine, they questioned. They stated that the true face of so-called civilized Western powers and the Muslims regimes supporting Israel has now been exposed and emphasized the need for unity among the Muslims. They added, “those betraying Ummah by collaborating with Israel are causing Irreparable harm, and it is the collective responsibility of the Muslims world to raise voice for Al-Quds and the Palestinian people”.
It is to be mentioned here that hundreds of Palestinians have been martyred and over thousands injured in aerial strikes, launched by Israel from 18 March to 09 April, 2025.
