ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) political and core committees have issued a joint statement warning that the country stands at a critical juncture following the Pahalgam attack. The statement read a state of high alert has been announced in response to threats from India. “The need for national unity and credible leadership in these challenging times is inevitable,” said the PTI. The PTI committees described Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership as a serious threat to regional peace, condemning what they called India’s aggressive ambitions and support for war. DNA
