Peshawar: In his message on Labour Day, Special Assistant to the CM KP on Forests, Wildlife, Environment, and Climate Change, Pir Musavir Khan, has paid tribute to labourers. Pir Musavir said that May 1st reminds us of the hard work, struggle, and sacrifices of the working class. The purpose of celebrating this day is not only to acknowledge the services of labourers but also to reiterate the commitment to protect their rights and work for their welfare. He emphasized that labourers are the backbone of any society, and no country can progress without their inclusion. The Special Assistant further stated that the provincial government has taken pro-labour measures in the province, and the government is making every possible effort to protect their rights and improve their livelihoods.
