peshawar: Members of the Workers Welfare Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has withdrawn the previous decision regarding closure of 11 technical institutes of WWB while regular status has been restored to all the 11 institutes now in the best public interest. According to a notification issued from WWB, in a major decision made in the 105th board meeting, the board members unanimously approved the restoration of 11 previously closed technical institutes across various districts of the province. The decision was taken in the best public interest and reflects the board’s commitment to vocational education and skill development. The KP Workers Welfare Board earlier decided to close down these institutes. The regular status of all 11 institutions has now been fully restored following the approval of the competent authority. The reinstated technical institutions are Government Polytechnic Institute, Peshawar, Government Polytechnic Institute, Dera Ismail Khan, Government Polytechnic Institute, Tank, Government Mono-Tech Institute, Amangarh, Government Mono-Tech Institute, Akora Khattak, Government Mono-Tech Institute, Mardan, Government Mono-Tech Institute, Charsadda, Government Mono-Tech Institute, Gadoon Amazai, Government Mono-Tech Institute, Swat, Government Mono-Tech Institute, Hattar and Government Mono-Tech Institute, Bannu.
