ISLAMABAD
PTI has moved Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) for staying trial of Hashim Abbasi major accused in the case of crushing Rangers personnel under vehicle during November 26 protest.
The petition said the accused is mentally unstable, therefore, it is impossible to continue proceedings of the case.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case.
The court while seeking arguments on the petition of the accused on next hearing adjourned the hearing till July 28.
Challan to the extent of Hashim Abbasi has been filed by prosecution in the court.
PTI founder, Bushra Bibi , Ali Amin Gandapur and other leaders have been nominated too in this case.
Case was registered in Ramna Police station which include terrorism, attack on government official, attempt to murder related clauses.
