Former Pakistan cricket team captain and superstar all-rounder Shahid Afridi paid a special visit to the Malik Saad Shahid Police Line Peshawar. CCPO Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad and SSP Operations Masood Ahmad warmly welcomed the esteemed guest.
During the visit, Afridi paid his respects at the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid flowers, and prayed for the high ranks of the martyrs of the KP Police. He was briefed by the CCPO on the law and order situation and public services.
Afridi praised the Peshawar Police’s exemplary and professional security arrangements during the recent cricket match at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.
He appreciated the efforts of the Peshawar Police in ensuring the safety of the spectators and players.
Afridi commended the sacrifices of the Pakhtunkhwa Police in the war against terrorism and said that the nation is proud of their bravery.
He expressed his deep connection and love for the people of Peshawar, Khyber, and KP.
He stated that he will always stand with the people of Peshawar in times of need.
Afridi thanked the Peshawar Police and district administration for their efforts and termed the Peshawar Police a professional and excellent force.
