PTI leader Asad Qaisar has declared statement given by Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur on Kalabagh dam his personal statement.
In a statement Asad Qaisar said Ali Amin Gandapur statement on Kala Bagh dam is his personal statement and not a party policy. We don’t think there is any need of Kalabagh dam at present.
He held more smaller dams can be built now. There is big project of Chashma Right bank in his own area of Ali Amin Gandapur. This will meet need of water of his area .
He said further touching controversial things unnecessarily is not good. It is pertinent to mention Ali Amin Gandapur has said that not constructing Kalabagh dam is injustice with country and generations.
While talking to media men in KP House Islamabad Gandapur said Punjab, Sindh and KP will get water from Kalabagh dam. Sindh has issues on Kalabagh dam. Sit around the table and talk. Kalabagh dam is need of country. But this project stands stalled due to politics. Not constructing such dam is injustice with country and generations. He said Kalabagh dam like project should be constructed for the sake of future of Pakistan and children after satisfying all.
