IHC summons DG NCCIA in custody of children case

ISLAMABAD: Justice Muhammad Asif of Islamabad High Court (IHC) while hearing Pakistan national US citizen lady Ghulam Ghousia Akhunzada petition seeking custody of her children has summoned Director General (DG) National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in person today (Thursday). . The court has issued written order in this regard. The petitioner had taken plea she was got married to one Muhammad Owais Tariq resident of Taxila in January 2014. The husband was shifted to US after marriage and they bore all his expenses. According to petitioner she has two sons, Irham 8 and Haider 5. Husband got passports of children on the pretext of performance of Umrah and he brought them to Pakistan without permission. She further told local court of US has given decision in her favor. However her husband is absent from his Attock address and he is not becoming available despite his several addresses in Pakistan. She has requested the court her husband be traced and her children be handed over to her. The court while directing NCCIA to search for Muhammad Owais Tariq ordered DG NCCIA should appear before it on next hearing with complete report.
Next hearing of the case has been fixed on September 11.
