Landowners still haven’t got class four jobs, says Landowners’ Organization

The landowners of Mardan, who had donated their land for the construction of a schools in Mardan district stage protest rally in front of Mardan press club in favor of their demand and implementation of agreement and demanded that the government honor its commitment Landowner’s association president Zawar Khan, Chairman Qamar Zaman general secretary Tamur Safi, Gul Muhammad Sangar and other led the protest rally.
Later on addressing a news conference at Mardan press club the office bearers of the association said that according to the agreement made at the time of the land donation, the government had promised to allocate class four posts to the landowners’ families. The landowners stressed that the pledge must now be fulfilled, urging authorities to take immediate action. The school landowners said that they have shut down 38 government schools in protest against the authorities’ failure to appoint class four employees. According to the landowners, the government had pledged to provide these posts under an agreement, but despite repeated demands, the commitment has not been fulfilled.
They warned that if the government does not take immediate action, the protest movement will intensify, causing further disruption to the education of local children.
