SWABI: Medical Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced to stage a protest demonstration in front of healthcare commission and strike in public sector hospitals on September 18. A meeting of medical association that was attended by office bearers from Swabi and Mardan announced strike in all hospitals of Mardan Division and said that only emergency cover would be provided to patients. They said that demonstration would also be held in front of healthcare commission to press demands including promotion orders of employees from BPS 16 to 17, issuance of seniority list and allotment of flats in Bacha Khana and Gajju Khan Medical colleges.
