Shamshan Ghat case
PESHAWAR: Justice Syed Arshid Ali of Peshawar High Court (PHC) has remarked during the hearing of Shamshan Ghat case that how the approval will be got while there is no cabinet at present. A two members bench of SHC comprising justice Syed Arshid Ali and Justice Waqar Ahmad took up the petition for hearing Tuesday. Tamore Khan counsel for the petitioner argued that land has been identified for Shamshan Ghat in Khaishgi Bala. The land which has been identified is owned by Tourism department. Application has been given for a bus to carry the body to Shamshan Ghat. Justice Syed Arshid Ali remarked no cabinet is in place at present. How the approval will be obtained . You yourself are member of provincial assembly. Baba Girpal Singh said I am member of assembly from opposition on minority seat. Justice Syed Arshid Ali remarked there is no cabinet at present. Therefore. we cannot give date before a month. The court while calling report from provincial government adjourned hearing of the case till December 03. Online
