SCBA election
ISLAMABAD: Candidates from Asma Jahangir group have succeeded 9 seats of member executive committee from Balochistan, KP, Punjab and Sindh. Official results of annual polls of Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) have been issued and Asma Jahangir group has emerged victorious. According to final result advocate Haroon Rashid has been elected president of SCBA by securing 1898 votes and Malik Zahid Aslam secretary Bar by securing 1915 votes. All the three vice presidents from Balochistan, KP and Punjab have been elected from Asma Jahangir group. While Hamid Khan group backed Malik Khushal Khan Awan has been elected Vice president from Sind seat. Saira Khalid from Asma Jahangir group has been elected as finance secretary by obtaining 2049 votes while Sardar Tariq Hussain from Asma Jahangir group has been elected as additional secretary by securing 1835 votes.
