ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued written order regarding suspension of appointment order of director current affairs Chaudhry Saleem in PTV. Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro of IHC has issued order for hearing the miscellaneous petition filed by Sohail Akhtar on the matter of appointments in PTV. It has been said in the order as per counsel for the petitioner the promotion of Chaudhry Saleem constitutes violation of the affidavit given in the court. He was appointed as director current affairs after 6 days of his retirement. According to court’s orders the counsel requested for suspending October 13, 2025 order. Online
