RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) recovered 144 kilograms of hashish during an intelligence-based operation in District Khyber, the Force’s spokesman said on Wednesday. Acting on credible information regarding the presence of narcotics, a team of the ANF Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Station raided a dumping site where the drugs had been concealed among rocky terrain. The spokesman said the consignment belonged to notorious drug traffickers hailing from the Afridi tribe.A case has been registered against the accused under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, while further investigation is in progress.
