Karak: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Karak, Asad Sarwar, visited Khushal Khan Khattak University (KKKU) Karak, where he held a meeting with the Vice-Chancellor Prof.Dr.Muhammad Tahir Khalily. The discussion covered various issues concerning the university, including ongoing courses, facilities provided to students, and the overall educational environment. The Deputy Commissioner, accompanied by the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar Muhammad Rashad, also toured different departments and the central library. During a conversation with the Head of the Library section, the expeditious activation of the Karak Library was also discussed. The Vice-Chancellor praised the positive and commendable initiative taken by the Deputy Commissioner in this regard and assured him that the university administration would fully cooperate with the district administration. He stated that the restoration and activation of the Karak Library would provide ample educational opportunities not only to university students but also to other students in the area. Furthermore, the quick activation of the library would also provide internship opportunities for the university’s Library Science students. Both sides expressed their commitment to swiftly completing this project through the joint efforts of the district and university administrations. Subsequently, the Deputy Commissioner, along with the Vice-Chancellor, also visited the university’s newly constructed building and reviewed the administrative matters of various departments and laboratories.
