ISLAMABAD: Election Commission (EC) has issued schedule for Local Bodies (LB) polls in Islamabad. According to EC the LB polls will take place in federal capital on February 15. Polling process will continue from 8 A.M to 4 P.M. EC has said Returning Officers (RO’s ) will display public notice on December 19 for filing nomination papers. Nomination papers will be filed from December 22 to December 27. According to election schedule scrutiny of nomination papers will be carried out from December 30 to January 3, 2026. Appeals will be filed from January 5 to January 8, 2026. Tribunals will wrap up appeals from January 9 to January 13. Election Commission has said the last date for withdrawing nomination papers is January 15, 2026. The final list of candidates will be displayed on January 16. Election symbol will be allotted on January 16. According to election schedule polling for LB polls in Islamabad will be held on February 15.
