The Financial Assistance & Development (FAD) Department of Women University Swabi organized a Scholarship Cheques Distribution Ceremony aimed at providing financial support to deserving and meritorious students of the university.
A total of seventy eight students from various academic departments were awarded scholarship cheques with a cumulative amount of Rs. 6,710,052.
The scholarships were granted under several prestigious national and international programs, including the Karwan-e-Ilm Foundation, Benazir Undergraduate Scholarship Program, Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF – Arts & Culture Scholarships), Mora Scholarship, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Scholarship, Overseas Pakistan Foundation (OPF) Scholarship, the Quaid Institute Allied Nursing Health Scholarships.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of the Vice Chancellor of Women University Swabi, Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmeen, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The scholarship cheques were distributed by the Chief Guest.
In her address, Prof. Dr. Ghazala Yasmeen emphasized the significance of female education as a cornerstone of social and national development.
She reaffirmed the university’s firm commitment to expand financial assistance initiatives to ensure equitable access to higher education for students facing financial constraints. She directed FAD sustain her efforts to ensure that no female student is deprived of education due to financial hardship.
