RAWALPINDI: Video link trial in respect of May 9 cases including GHQ attack case has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench. A regular petition has been filed in LHC Rawalpindi bench. The petition said video link trial and whats app call trial is violation of article 10-A of the constitution. It has been requested in the petition video link trial be declared illegal. Open Jail trial be conducted or order be issued for presenting Imran Khan from jail. The petitions seeking court’s orders for arranging meeting of Imran Khan with defence counsels has also been filed. The petitioner took the plea it is hoped court will soon allow the lawyers to meet Imran Khan. No case can be put to trial without the meeting with the client and instructions. Defence counsel said if permission is not given to meet Imran Khan then we will not be able get try any case. The petition for meeting with Imran Khan has been filed in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC).
