The City Traffic Police organized a farewell ceremony in honor of retired DSP Zafar Khan and outgoing ASI Rizwan Khan, and Deputy Director IT Muhammad Ashfaq.
The event was attended by Chief Traffic Officer Dr. Zahidullah, SPs, DSPs, and numerous staff members.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Traffic Officer Dr. Zahidullah praised the contributions of the outgoing officers, highlighting their roles in improving traffic management across the city.
He noted that DSP Zafar Khan and ASI Rizwan Khan had performed exceptionally in the ongoing campaign against encroachment mafias, while Director IT Ashfaq Khan had brought significant digital reforms, elevating the institution to par with other provincial departments.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, shields were presented to the retired officers by Dr. Zahidullah on behalf of the Traffic Police, in recognition of their dedicated service to the people of Peshawar.
