Kashmir Solidarity Day observed in Landi Kotal with a pledge to support the struggle of Kashmiris till they get the right of their self-determination.
In this connection a rally was organized from tehsil compound till levies center gate that was attended by Assistant Commissioner (AC), Landi Kotal, Inamullah Khan Wazir, and former Member Provincial Assembly for minority Wilson Wazir number of councilors, tribal elders and members of civil society were among the participants.
Speaking on the occasion speakers including Haji Hakeem Khan Shinwari, Wilson Wazir, Council Chairman Aziz Khan and others reaffirmed that the people and government of Pakistan will continue their moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiri brothers till the realization of their right to self-determination, as guaranteed in the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
The so-called civilized western countries should take notice of the human rights violation of India and should stop it, they argued.
They maintained that a lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute was possible only to grant the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir to decide their future as per their wishes.
The protestors while carrying Pakistan and Kashmiri flags chanted slogans like, “Kashmir will become part of Pakistan”, “Long live Pakistan “etc.
Earlier, Quran Khawani was held and prayers were offered for the martyrs of Kashmiris and freedom of it besides cohesion and prosperity of Pakistan.
