Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmad on Thursday paid a surprise visit to various police stations and posts to review security measures and ongoing construction work.
According to a statement issued here, CCPO inspected the Police Service Centre, Police Station Sarband, and checkpoints Riaz Shahid and Manzoor Shahid to review security measures and construction work.
During the visit, Dr. Ahmad inspected the internal and external security, government arms, police personnel accommodations, and sanitation arrangements.
The in-charge of the service centre, SHO Sarband, and checkpoint in-charges briefed him on the ongoing construction work and security measures.
The CCPO praised the performance of police officers and personnel on duty, awarding them cash rewards for their efforts in maintaining better security arrangements.
Dr. Mian Saeed directed police officials to serve the public, prevent crimes effectively, and remain alert at all times.
