PESHAWAR
Central President of Awami National Party (ANP) Aimal Wali Khan while expressing grave concern over health report of Imran Khan presented in Supreme Court has said this matter is not only a serious matter for political circles but also for state too.
Matter linked to health of any political leader should be seen in human and constitutional perspective. This cannot be made part of political differences.
He said in a statement issued here Saturday.
He said ANP believes in politics of principles and it has been opposing political vendetta or politics of coercion.
ANP had opposed it publicly when Nawaz Sharif and his family was facing the same situation during 2018 to 2024.
He made it clear that targeting health or domestic affairs in any political rivalry is against the norms of decency and democracy.
Supremacy of law and constitution should be ensured at every cost, he urged.
He warned if politics would be diverted to personal enmity or political vendetta then it will leave its impact on society and democratic system can be further weakened.
