PESHAWAR: Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dr Mian Saeed Ahmed on Monday continued his practice of directly hearing public grievances, issuing directives for immediate and transparent resolution of citizens’ problems. During an open court held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, women, elderly individuals and other citizens presented their complaints to the CCPO. Officials said the complaints included property disputes, financial matters and domestic issues. Following the hearings, the CCPO directed the relevant police officers to take prompt, effective and transparent action, and to submit written reports on the progress at the earliest. Dr Saeed Ahmed emphasised that resolving citizens’ issues in a timely manner and ensuring the protection of their lives and property remained the foremost responsibility of the police. He also instructed officers to prioritise public grievances and ensure that all cases were addressed on a merit basis without delay. Haqnawaz shinwari
