Providing cheap and uninterrupted electricity to the people of the province is the top priority of the current provincial government, that is why in the backward areas of the province, where the poor people are deprived of the blessing of electricity, Mini Micro Hydropower Projects (MMHPPs) have been constructed to generate cheap electricity from the blessing of water. Thousands of families are benefiting from these projects. Completing the ongoing energy projects within the stipulated time frame in the light of the fast track policy is the biggest challenge. In the light orders of Chief Minister and Chief Secretary KP, strict monitoring is being carried out to resolve the issues of energy projects with transparency and within the stipulated timelines.
