ISLAMABAD
In a major honour for Pakistan hockey, legendary former captain Shahbaz Senior has been invited by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) as a special guest for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026.
The FIH has officially invited Shahbaz Senior to represent Pakistan among the world’s hockey legends during the tournament. As one of the sport’s iconic figures, he will participate in special events and official activities alongside other celebrated former international players.
The FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 will be held from August 15 to 30 in Belgium.
