Local police have registered a case against a father and his brother-in-law for allegedly locking his son for more than three and half years in the room, police sources said. Sources added that a neighbor informed the official of Shahbaz Garhi police station that a person is shouting in the house at Sheikhabad Butseri.
Sources added that police raided the house and recovered a man identified as Maqsood. Sources added that later Maqsood son of Jan Bahadur resident of Sheikhabad Butseri told Shahbaz Garhi police station official that his father Jan Bahadur and his uncle Javeed Khan allegedly locked him in the room for the last three and half years.
He told police that he was not allowed to meet other members of the family and they also served him food one time a day due to which he became very weak and could not walk.
He told police that he is married and has two children.
Police registered a case against his father and uncle under section 342,346 and 34 and started investigation. The police sent the recovered person to hospital for treatment.
