AC extends physical remand of Chairman PTI for two days in 190 million pounds scandal case

ISLAMABAD
Accountability Court (AC) of Islamabad has issued order for extending physical remand of chairman PTI for two days in 190 million pounds scandal case.
Judge Muhammad Bashir of AC issued 4-page written order on Wednesday .
It has been said in written order chairman PTI has remained in the custody of NAB for 4 days. NAB requested for further 5 days physical remand of Imran Khan.
According to NAB investigation was made from chairman NAB during physical remand. New facts have come to fore during investigation. More investigation is needed therein.
The court has said in the order more physical remand is needed in respect of chairman PTI to reach final result of the investigation. Original documents related to the case are required which are in the custody of Ali Zafar advocate. Investigation will be completed after cross questioning about these documents.
As per order counsel for PTI chairman took the plea NAB has already taken into custody all documents related to case. Proper time has already been given to NAB for investigation. NAB has no legal justification for more physical remand.
According to court’s order the physical remand of chairman is extended for two days instead of five days in connection with cross questioning about documents. PTI chairman be presented in the court again on November 23.
