Therabi lake contract
LAHORE: Anti Corruption Court (ACC) has sought reply from anti corruption on bail plea of senior journalist Imran Riaz Khan. Judge Safdar Ali Bhatti of ACC took up the bail plea for hearing Saturday. Imran Riaz Khan filed his bail plea in the case of acquiring Therabi lake contract on reduced rates through Mian Ali Ashfaq advocate, Azhar Siddique and Rana Maroof. He took the plea in the petition that false and baseless case was registered against Imran Riaz Khan. He is being politically victimized. It was further said in the petition that not a single evidence is held by anti corruption against Imran Riaz. It was requested the court to accept the bail plea and order to set free Imran Riaz Khan. The court while issuing notice sought reply from anti corruption besides adjourning the hearing till Monday. Online
