LAHORE: The act of conducting elections in the last week of January was challenged in the Lahore High Court on Wednesday. A local counsel filed a miscellaneous application in the high court. The petition argues that the Election Commission is in breach of the Constitution and court directives, as the Constitution clearly stipulates that elections should take place within 90 days.
