PESHAWAR: The teams of district administration here Monday fixed per kilogram rates of fruits, vegetables, and chicken and directed vendors to ensure display of price lists for consumers on prominent places in the markets. On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Shafiullah Khan that the price list of edibles, per kilogram rate for chicken was fixed at Rs 380. The rates of vegetables are potato Rs 40, onion Rs240, tomato Rs60, green-chili Rs100, cucumber Rs70, garlic Rs430, ginger Rs500, eggplant Rs110, pumpkin Rs70, cauliflower Rs 30 and cabbage was available on Rs 30 per Kg in district Peshawar. Similarly, the rate of fruits are pomegranate (Kandhari) Rs 290, apple (golden) Rs150, apple (Kabuli) Rs 220, apple (Irani) Rs 320, Kino (Punjab) Rs 220, Kino (local) Rs 100, guava (Kohat) Rs 200, guava (Punjab) Rs 120 and per dozen Banana No. 1 would available on Rs230.
