PESHAWAR
Afghan deputy commercial attaché for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr Hameed Fazil Khel has expressed deep concern and sorrow over the Torkham landsliding incident.
In his condolence message here on Tuesday, he termed the incident unfortunate and prayed for patience for the bereaved families and speedy recovery of the injured.
He said that the provincial and federal government should investigate the causes behind the incident and those responsible should be brought to justice.
Mr Hameed Fazil Khel also demanded the government to announce a financial package for those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.
Addressing a condolence reference, an Afghan diplomat said that the Afghan government has been taken on board regarding the incident and its government will try its level best to solve the problems of the transporters community operating on the both sides of Pak-Afghan highways.
