LAHORE: Fearing utter danger to their lives after taking over by the hard-core Taliban, a group of 15-member women soccer team from Afghanistan, reached here this afternoon. They traveled Pakistan through rugged terrain mountainous region in most difficult situation, members of exhausted soccer told media at the Federaion of International Football Association of Pakistan where theprovided them housing before the onward journey to the unknown countries. Ms.Rozina and Nafeesa, the active members of the soccer team said they were in most dangerous region where Taliban have scant regard of Women folk. An another group of Soccer team has already been given shelter in Australia and an another group by the Gulf State Qatar after taken over by the Taliban.
We don’t know about our next destination but we are thankful to the government of Pakistan for giving us shelter in Pakistan till final decision of our next destination.Ms. Nafeesa said. = DNA
