Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, good omen: OIC

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) while declaring Makkah defence agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye, good omen has announced full support for this important strategic step.
OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha has declared the Makkah defence agreement a significant movement forward for peace, security and promotion of stability in the region and entire Muslim world.
OIC said in its statement on social media website X that OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha has congratulated leadership of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye on completion of this historical agreement and he has appreciated leadership of the three countries and their tireless efforts due to which defence agreement became possible.
He said this agreement is of vital importance for peace and stability in region and Muslim world. It serves as basic pillar for peace and security in region and Muslim world.
He observed this agreement reflects the joint resolve to face growing security challenges. This will play a significant role for promoting unity, cooperation and constructive partnership among OIC member countries.
He reiterated the resolve need is there that collective efforts and mutual cooperation be strengthened further for peace, security and stability in the region and Muslim world.
Meanwhile, Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry described the agreement as an important addition to the broader regional defence framework, highlighting the military capabilities and expertise of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
