Petition has been filed in Election Commission (EC) against intra party election of PTI.
The founder of PTI Akbar S Babar has filed formal petition in EC.
It has been said in the petition the election symbol bat be not allowed to PTI till transparent intra party election are held. EC should give order to hold new intra party election. EC should appoint neutral party to hold intra party election of PTI in transparent manner under their supervision.
It has been further said in the petition PTI intra party election were sheer delusion in order to deceive EC. Fraud electoral process deprived PTI members of the right to vote and participate in election. The election runs contrary to sub section 2 of section 208 under election act.
He has also filed video footage and other evidence alongwith petition in EC.
He has also attached a news item released on PTI website along with the petition.
