Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat visited University Road to ensure availability of parking in the plazas.
DSP Town Traffic Hazratullah was also present on the occasion.
During the visit, Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat inspected the parking lot in the plazas.
During the visit, the Chief Traffic Officer issued FIR orders against five plazas for non-availability of parking and use of parking for commercial purposes.
Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat directed the plaza owners to ensure parking in the plazas or else strict legal action would be taken.
He said that due to non-availability of parking in the plazas, the vehicles coming for shopping are often parked on the side of the road which disrupts the traffic which is not acceptable in any case.
He directed the concerned DSP Town Traffic Hazratullah to keep check and balance on the plazas and ensure parking in the plazas and not to be lenient with anyone in this regard while against those who use the parking for other purposes.
