Tribesmen of Khuga Khel tribe said that allegedly fake contract signed between unrepresentative of Khuga Khel tribe National Logistic Cell and Federal Board of Revenue(FBR) is unacceptable and vowed that till revising of the agreement they will not give up their agitation.
Addressing to a protest rally those who led it including Muhammad Zakria Shinwari,Mufti Ijaz,Muqtader Shah Afridi, Maulana Samiullah and others said that through months long meetings, all the shareholders agreed on draft but at the time of signing ceremony, the agreement was completely changed and they refused to sign it.
However, a few unrepresentatives of Khuga Khel were misled and persuaded to sign a pact and the NLC started construction allegedly on their private property that is equall to snitching their property by fraud, they added.
They also criticized Commandant Khyber Rifle Col Rizwan Nazir for his negative role and said he created rift among the tribesmen.
They threatened that till reviewing of the agreement their protest will continue.
Meanwhile the people from different walk of life hold protest rally and initiated protest set-in on Landi Kotal-Torkham highway in favor of their demand.
They put stones hurdle of mud on the road and suspended it for all kinds of traffic.
The spokesperson of NLC said that the agreement had been made with consensus of Khuga Khel tribe and it will be imposed in word and spirit.
He urged the tribesmen not to let anyone sabotage the agreement.
Due to blockage, long queues of vehicles loaded with export and import merchandise could be witnessed, parked on the road.
