ANP Chief pays tribute to martyrs of Takakr incident

Central President Awami National Party (ANP), Asfandyar Wali Khan here Saturday paid tribute to Pashtuns who lost their lives on May 28, 1930 in Takkar incident and said that their sacrifices are beacon light that teach us about endurance and dedication to a cause.
In a message issued here from Bacha Khan Markaz in connection with the 93 anniversary of Takkar incident, he said that these incidents teach us that one should not budge from resolve to upheld truth. He said that the incident is still serving as a guiding principle to our workers.
Paying tribute to martyrs of Takkar incident , he reiterated that we should not let go patience and abide by the principle of non-violence in struggle for our rights. He said that our people are still unaware of the sacrifices of people on May 28, 1930 as the incident has not been mentioned in history books.
