In a statement issued from the Bacha Khan Markaz, ANP provincial president Aimal Wali Khan has demanded that the culprits be arrested and tried immediately.
He said that only the ANP had been outspoken against terrorism and criticized the government for spending its entire energies on vested interests and paying no heed towards the issue of terrorism in KP.
ANP leader said that genocide of Pashtuns continues even in Ramadan, adding that election and power were the main priorities of the political leadership in the country.
“It is unfortunate that those who settled terrorists in the province still have government support and protocol in the country,” he added.
Aimal Wali Khan said that parliament, judiciary and media have observed pin drop silence over the terrorist incident in KP, adding that people of the province wanted peace and tranquility on their land.
He further said that ANP’s stance on terrorism is very clear. Terrorists have no religion or race, but they are terrorists. Mr Khan demanded implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) and pragmatic action against the terrorist groups in the province.
We demand action against all those elements involved in bringing and settling terrorists in the province, Aimal Wali Khan added.
