PESHAWAR: President of the overseas chapter of Awami National Party (ANP) in Malaysia, Abdul Rahman was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Monday inside his hujra in Alaf Khan Abad area of Charsadda. According to police, Abdul Rahman was present in his hujra when an unknown armed man entered and opened fire on him. As a result, he sustained critical injuries and died on the spot. APP
The attacker managed to escape the scene.
Police personnel reached the site immediately after receiving information and shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police said an investigation has been launched and raids are being conducted at various locations to arrest the suspects. The motive behind the killing has not yet been determined.
