PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP) has set up its election cell in the party’s headquarters Bacha Khan Markaz. According to a statement issued here on Thursday, the party has announced a provincial election cell in connection with the preparations for the upcoming general elections in the country. ANP’s central committee member Engineer Ijaz Yousafzai has been appointed as the cell’s head while Mukhtar Khan, Shahi Khan Sherani, Tariq Afghan and Sanagulzar have been named as the members of the cell. The statement said that other members for the cell will also be selected in future which will start its work in Bacha Khan Markaz. ANP provincial president approved the formation of an election cell with the Provincial Cabinet, Working Committee and Provincial Council. DLP Report
