PESHAWAR:Deputy Commissioner Mardan Division Abdul Ghafoor Baig Thursday said that as many as 677261 children under the age of five would be vaccinated against crippling polio disease in districts Mardan and Swabi. Presiding over a review meeting for polio vaccination drive to be initiated from November 12 to November 15 in Mardan division, he said that 400963 children in Mardan and 276298 in district Swabi would be vaccinated against polio by 1251 and 893 teams respectively. He said polio is a crippling disease for which everyone has to perform his national duty to eliminate it and protect the coming generation from disabilities.
