PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Wednesday appointed former Nazim Peshawar Arbab Mohammad Asim Khan as special assistants to the chief minister. A notification issued by the administration department stated that in exercise of powers conferred by the Section 3(1) of KP Advisors and Special Assistants to Chief Minister (Appointment) Act 1989, the governor KP on advice of the chief minister was pleased to appoint Mr Asim Khan as special assistant to CM with immediate effect. However, the government has not assigned a portfolio to the newly-appointed special assistant. DLP Report
