May 9 related 8 cases

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has sought record and arguments from the prosecution in May 9 related 8 cases of siege and arson in respect of PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi besides summoning former foreign minister in person on next hearing. Judge Manzar Ali Gill of ATC Lahore took up bail pleas for hearing Wednesday. Rana Mudassar Omar advocate appeared on behalf of Shah Mehmood Qureshi. During the hearing of the case, prosecution did not present record of the cases in the court.
Prosecutor told the court bail matter of Shah Mehmood Qureshi was not in his knowledge due to his engagements in jail trial.
The prosecutor requested the court to give time to provide record and offer arguments.
Counsel for Shah Mehmood Qureshi said we are ready for arguments. Prosecution is using dilatory tactics.
The court while summoning Shah Mehmood Qureshi in person in two cases on next hearing adjourned the hearing of these cases till June 16.
The hearing of remaining 6 cases was adjourned till May 26.
