Adviser to the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Dr. Saif, has demanded the immediate release of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and all imprisoned party workers, stating that PTI represents 29 years of struggle, sacrifice, and public service.
In his message on the occasion of PTI’s Foundation Day, Dr. Saif said the party, under the sincere and tireless leadership of Imran Khan, has become the most popular political force in the country.
He criticized the current government, calling it a “fake setup” attempting to suppress PTI through human rights violations and politically motivated actions.
He stressed that such tactics would not succeed in silencing the party or its supporters. “PTI cannot be suppressed with cheap tactics,” he stated, adding that the baseless cases against the leadership must be withdrawn.
Referring to senior PTI leader Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Saif said she was elderly and in poor health, and keeping her in jail is a clear injustice. “The current circumstances demand political stability and national unity, which are not possible without Imran Khan,” he added.
Mr Saif lauded the sacrifices of PTI’s jailed leaders and workers, saying they have made history through their resilience. “Now is the time to restore justice, uphold the Constitution, and respect the public mandate,” he concluded.
