TAKHT BHAI: Police on Tuesday claimed to have foiled a major terrorist plot by recovering a huge cache of explosives in Kamran-Kaly (village), an area falls in the limits of Saro Shah Police Station. According to police, the miscreants had dumped the explosive in the aforementioned area for sabotage activities. The operation was conducted after the police got a tip-off that a huge quantity of explosives had been dumped in a bag in the village. The operation was led by DSP Takht Bhai Circle with Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) Squad and recovered the explosive. Police said that a timely operation foiled the terrorists plan, adding that a first information report (FIR) has been lodged in the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Police Station in Mardan and a comprehensive investigation is underway.
